Musikgarten™ is a renowned international early childhood curriculum that offers children from birth to age 9 a sequential path towards comprehensive musical skills.

Spanish

Nothing matters more than the safety, security, and health of your child. Protection and preparedness are critical considerations in everything we do. From first aid training for emergency situations to sanitation and ensuring a clean and healthy environment for children, we offer nearly 50 years of experience ensuring that every child is happy and healthy. Our on-site security cameras are an added measure of protection, as are our standard daily sign-out procedures, field trip safety process, and screened employees. We are happy to answer your specific questions about Safety & Security. 

We give your children a jump start into foreign language. At Lakefront Children's Academy, Spanish vocabulary is incorporated into our twice daily oral lessons, as well as into each individual classroom.

Our students enjoy weekly computer lab, where classroom concepts are technologically enhanced. Students master the fundamentals of computer operation while supplementing classroom teachings.

Activities & Enrichment

Private piano lessons are a featured part of our arts curriculum and are available for all full time students, 4 years and older.  Students learn the basic fundamentals of music sight reading in addition to learning tone recognition, basic harmony and being able to identify all the notes of the piano keyboard.

Every Friday, our students can be found working on agility drills, relay races, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, aerobic activities, sports fundamentals, leadership skills and team cooperation with our fantastic coaches.

Computer Lab

Research shows that children who are actively involved in music (who play it or sing it regularly):

  • Perform better in reading and math
  • Are better able to focus and control their bodies
  • Play better with others and have higher self-esteem


Children who grow up in an enriched music environment also are better able to understand and enjoy music for the rest of their lives!
